Get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July in style with a festive embroidered baseball hat that will make you the star of the show! This year, why not add a touch of explosive excitement to your outfit by incorporating a firework embroidery design? Picture it: a classic baseball hat adorned with bursts of color and sparkle, perfectly capturing the spirit of this patriotic holiday. Get your creative juices flowing because it’s time to embark on a DIY adventure that will leave you feeling fun, excited, and oh-so-patriotic!
I chose to make my own baseball hat using a pattern from Style Arc, but you could easily purchase a hat to embroider.
1
Download the hat pattern. Print and cut out.
2
Next, find an embroidery design that showcases the explosive beauty of fireworks. The Fireworks Design Collection is perfect for this project.
3
Mark the front pattern piece on the fabric with Frixion markers. Hoop a piece of tear-away stabilizer and the fabric in the hoop. Load the hoop into the machine.
Make sure to mark the center of the design so you can use your design template to hoop the fabric in the right place. If you no longer have the hoop placement template that came with your machine, check out how Sadie made her own.
4
Stitch the design changing colors as needed.
5
Remove the hoop from the machine and the fabric from the hoop.
6
Continue constructing the hat according to the pattern instructions.
You now have a one-of-a-kind, festive embroidered baseball hat that screams “USA!” and will ignite a wave of admiration wherever you go!
Bring a Spark to the BBQ
Looking for more ways to use firework embroidery designs? I can’t help but think about grilling when I think of the Fourth of July. This Grill Getter BBQ tool holder would look so festive with fireworks across the front. Why not bring it along to your neighborhood cookout as a gift for the host?
